DeTrafficator app for iPhone and iPad

DeTrafficator is a utility that encourages you to drive at a steady speed while driving in traffic. This is based on the theory that driving your vehicle at the average speed of traffic will improve traffic flow as well as save gas.

DRIVING AN AUTOMOBILE WHILE DISTRACTED CAN BE DANGEROUS. USE THE DETRAFFICATOR APP AT YOUR OWN RISK. It is recommended that you first open DeTrafficator and learn how to use it BEFORE using it during actual driving.

USAGE

The needle in the center of the screen indicates your current speed. The purple oval indicates your current average speed. When it is within 10% of your current speed, the current speed indicator will light up blue. If sounds are enabled, "Speed Up" and "Slow Down" sounds will be played if your average speed is not within 10% of your current speed.
Tapping the Reset button sets the average speed to the current speed.
You can switch speed units to km/h in the settings screen.
